Director of Financial Planning

Many large companies have intricate retirement plans for their employees.  For example, FedEx pilots have significant choices they must make with regard to their retirement funding.  Our firm has the expertise to interpret plan features and assist with the selection of benefits according to each client’s unique goals and portfolio management needs.   Clients deserve the Legacy difference.

Bill is a member of Rob Sievers’ client service team.  He develops financial plans for the team and is responsible for delivering financial plans to new and existing clients.  He is a member of the firm’s Financial Planning Committee and Management Committee.  Bill serves as the primary contact for our pilot clients.  He provides them with in-depth information regarding the financial planning opportunities of their pilot employee benefits.

Bill joined Legacy Wealth Management in 2008 and was previously with Overcast Financial Planning for over 10 years where he did extensive planning work for more than 100 clients.  Prior to establishing Overcast Financial Planning, Bill spent over 20 years in the banking industry with the last eight years at Enterprise National Bank as Vice President of Commercial Lending/Private Banking.  Bill received his CFP® certification in 1998.  He is a member of the Financial Planning Association National and Financial Planning Association of Greater Memphis.  Bill also serves on the board and is chairman of the Finance Committee of the Christian Psychological Center.  Bill was named again in 2016 as a FIVE STAR Wealth ManagerSM by Memphis magazine.  He received his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Mississippi.
